Seit wann hörst du Metal?
Ostern 1981 schenkte mir meine Tante eine Musikkassette mit der Aufschrift "AC/DC ? "Back In Black". Innerhalb des nächsten Jahres war ich dann an die Grenzen der möglichen Bands auf diesem Medium gestoßen und musste mir einen Plattenspieler kaufen. Das erste Vinyl war dann Tygers Of Pan Tang "Wild Cat". Ein Album, das jeder einmal gehört haben sollte.
Welche Musik- bzw. Metalstile kannst du überhaupt nicht ertragen?
Volkstümelnde Musik, Reggae, Trip Hop
Europäischer Power Metal ist auch schwer zu ertragen (was immer das auch sein mag)
Wie viel genrefremde Musik (bezogen auf Metal naturalement) führst du dir zu Gemüte und wo liegen deine Vorlieben?
Ich mag vieles aus den 60ern und 70ern. Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Uriah Heep, Queen, Thin Lizzy, Journey, aber auch Kate Bush, frühe Tori Amos und kauzigen Rock der Marke Primus. Hauptsache es hat Spielwitz, Seele und Leben. Bitte keine klinisch tote Dosenkost.
Wie bist du zu POWERMETAL.de gekommen?
Ein netter Mensch, der meine Arbeit bei diversen anderen Publikation kannte (UNDERGROUND EMPIRE etc.) hat mich gefragt und ich konnte nicht widerstehen. Elf Jahre ist das jetzt her. Und noch kein Ende in Sicht.
